For Jay Raposki, DJ'ing is not just a job, but a passion he has pursued from a very young age.  For over 7 years he has dedicated his life to creating, mixing and remixing music.  Not only has he made a name for himself in the DJ'ing community, but he has become one of the most sought after DJ's for private and corporate events in Vancouver. He has recently become the resident DJ for Hastings Race Track and was profiled in "The Province" newspaper because of his ability to no only entertain, but bring out the new faces now being seen at one of Vancouver's most famous venues - Hastings Race Track.

Jay has also produced hundreds of promotional mixtapes over the last 5 years illustrating not only his ability to have a great ear for new music, but also his ability to take the time and effort into producing mixes that are as dynamic as they are quality.  Many of these mixtapes are readily available for any of his potential clients at their request.

Within the Vancouver nightlife, Jay has worked as a resident DJ at various venues including iconic clubs such as The Wild Coyote and Richards on Richards.  His amazing ear for music and unique skills have secured him many resident nights as the "feature DJ" at several venues working with many of the best promoters and DJ's Vancouver has to offer.

His DJ abilities also provided the basis for a promotional company founded by Jay and two other partners by the name of Phreshvibe Entertainment.  As a founding member, Jay took his DJ'ing to the next level as he quickly became a mentor to some of Vancouver's youngest DJ's.  Currently Phreshvibe Entertainment is one of Vancouver's most successful promotional businesses and the future is looking even bigger for this group of business-savvy individuals.

At the age of 25, Jay has not only worked in most of Vancouver's finest nightclubs, he has also travelled to California to guest DJ at many of Los Angeles's hottest venues.  However his DJ abilities and musical knowledge has not limited him to just nightclub employment. Along with the numerous corporate and private events he has performed at, Jay has also booked dozens of weddings within the last 2 years
providing the brides and grooms exactly what they were looking for on their "special day."

Jay's musical creativity allows him to be one of the most versatile DJ's in the industry.  He can cater to any request and any style of music requested by his clientele while also providing the "wow factor" that allows him to continually book event after event simply based on his dynamic ability to please his listeners during every performance.

It is not just his musical talent that wedding parties are impressed with.  Time and time again, Jay's ability to set up and troubleshoot any sound requirements prior to an event also guarantee's his clients a smooth and stress free event experience.

Jay thoughts about DJ'ing for a wedding.  "Weddings are enough stress for the bride and groom as is.  Why should they have to worry about the music.  That is my job.  That is my focus.  I want to provide my clients with not just music, but a total musical experience which starts with set up and ends with a celebration!"

Once the music is underway, Jay's unique knowledge of all genres of music allows him to entertain the party and promotes a wonderful experience for all wedding guests.  Special requests are always encouraged as Jay's goal for all weddings is to make the experience as memorable as possible by playing music that will please the specific needs of each and every client.
